Free Hearing Aids

Hearing Biz Now Accredited to provide FREE Hearing aids.

After two years of "private only" practice, Hearing Biz has now become an accredited provider of the Australian Government's Hearing Services program. Administered by the Office of Hearing Services in the Department of Health and Ageing in Canberra, this program is designed to enable Australian citizens who are eligible pensioners or Veterans to obtain FREE hearing aids and hearing services.

The range of hearing aids provided by Hearing Biz, under this program are of excellent quality and will meet the general needs of many people. An option called "Top-up" is also available for those wanting additional performance enhancing features not available in the free range. A fee to cover the gap between the value of the free aids and the "Top-up" aids is chargeable. This fee can vary considerably depending on the performance level of the instruments, chosen.

Subsidised battery and maintenance for either free or "Top-up" aids is provided by the Office of Hearing Services with the client required to pay a nominal annual contribution.
